Cormac Reid - BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance
Cormac has held many successful roles since graduating with a BA in Accounting and Finance from Griffith College. In 2002, Cormac set up Comms-Online Ltd, Ireland's leading communications consulting, integration and brokerage house. In 2002 he established a voice and broadband service provider called RocTel International which has grown 400% year on year to date.
Griffith College was a great stepping-stone for me in the business world which I enjoy so much. The accounting fundamentals and law principles, which I learned have stood me in good stead. Griffith College had a great sense of business achievement about it as it was driven by business people from the top and lecturers had field experience which added an extra dimension to my learning experience.
Zhenyu Zhou, BA. (Hons) Accounting & Finance
I have benefited a lot from the well-combined program for both my postgraduate studies and professional work. You can learn so much from the BAAF that is not limited to the business subjects, but also transferable skills like presentation, research and team working. I also liked very much of the small class environment which means we got one on one attention from lectures as they are all very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
Ciara Lyons, BA in Business Studies
"In Griffith College you are not just a number. Lecturers are very helpful and approachable and their doors are always open. This is my third year here. I am doing the BA in Business Studies. I hope to continue next year and get my honours BA in Business. I don't think other colleges can give as much attention to students. All lectures are like tutorials. I really like the personal touch here."
Geniviva Gyamfi, Higher Cert in Business
"I love how the lecturers and students get on so well in Griffith College. I have always been able to talk directly with my lecturers when needed. They are so approachable in Griffith. I love that the classes are small size. It means that every student gets the attention they need. The lecturers themselves are brilliant and have wide experience in business. "
Dawn Cronin, Certificate in Management
As a mature student I found going back to school again after so many years in the work force very daunting, but being a student at GCL changed my view on that. I found the college in a whole very welcoming and accommodating. The staff and lectures are so helpful informative and patient that everyone is made feel important, no one is left behind. With the large range of courses both part-time and full time available there is something suitable there for everyone. I would highly recommend Griffith College for further education no matter what level you wish to achieve. It's Achievable Here!!!
