This programme aims to provide participants with an understanding of the design process and the fundamental elements of design, including corporate identity, typography, digital imaging, graphics and editorial design.

The programme will provide participants with an understanding of the prepress enviornment and the relevant protocols in designing for print and will also equip participants with hands-on software skills for producing artwork in each component area of design, including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Indesign.

Successful graduates will be awarded a FETAC Level 5 Component Certificate in Graphic Design

This programme is highly practical in nature and an ideal foundation for those who wish to progress in the areas of graphic design or for those interested in building and designing their own website.

Graduates may also pursue further study in IT and Computing in Griffith College and elsewhere.
